Creating an Effective Web UI Test Automation Process with Selenium and Jenkins
Wednesday February 15th 2017 at 6PM
Featuring Stephen Burlingame
(location details provided below Eventbrite link)
About This Discussion:
Everyone loves talking about QA test automation but few organizations actually create an effective process. This discussion will focus on three main concepts. First, creating a solid test automation plan before even the first test case is written. Second, an introduction to the cost effective tools of Selenium and Jenkins from which to do the web interface regression tests. Third, how to act on this framework to have confidence that stable releases are being put into production environments.
Attendees will take away knowledge regarding how to identify areas for regression test automation and a general knowledge on set up and execution of Selenium framework coded in Python and running in Jenkins. Attendees will also understand key talking points to use when communicating success to your organization.
